The Bradley Shorthouse Dental Team

The clinic was conceived by clinical director Pierce Bradley.

Pierce Bradley

Principal Dentist

Pierce Bradley: Qualified B.D.S. in 1989 from the University of Birmingham, in 1990 was attached to Wordsley Hospital as a Honorary Clinical Lecturer undertaking Implant Research and gained membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of The Royal College of Surgeons in 2001. Has a special interest in Dental Implants, attends post graduate meetings on a regular basis and is an active member in a local Implant study group. Member of the I.T.I.(International Team for Implantology)Has undertaken an Implant course with the University of Warwick and an Advanced Restorative Course in Manchester. Pierce is married with four children which gives him extensive experience with dealing with the little ones.
Murray Sandford

Associate Dentist

Murray Sandford: Qualified B.D.S Qualified at Birmingham University B.D.S. in 1989 and joined the Practice in 1999, where he became a full Associate at Bradley Shorthouse. Murray is married with 3 children and currently enjoys carrying out general dentistry. Murray attends Post-Graduate meetings, has completed an Advanced Restorative Course in Manchester and has a special interest in the Orthodontic/Restorative interface.
Aparna Bhardwaj

Aparna qualified from the Royal London Hospital School of Dentistry in 1991. She has worked as a General Dental Practitioner in London and South Birmingham, she regularly attends post-graduate meetings, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in Periodontology. Aparna is married with 3 Children. She joined the Bradley Shorthouse team in 2018.
Antonio Garrett

Antonio is originally from Portugal where he qualified in 2012 from the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), he moved to the U.K in 2013 to work as a general dental practitioner. Antonio is committed to providing the best care possible for his patients and has a caring and gentle approach to dental treatment. Although he enjoys all aspects of dentistry Antonio has a special interest in orthodontics.

Antonio has completed a MClinDent in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at BPP University in London, in addition to this, he is an Invisalign® certified dentist and provides clear braces. Antonio has also completed a post-graduation certificate in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Outside dentistry Antonio enjoys spending time with his family and friends, outdoors running, playing football, tennis and travelling.
Emma Franks

Associate Dentist

Emma Franks qualified with honours from Cork University in 2013 and has achieved her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2015.

Emma is a friendly, approachable and caring practitioner. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including implants and managing anxious patients. Outside of work she enjoys keeping fit, watching rugby and reading a good book. She also loves travelling and seeing new places. Emma is excited to join the Bradley Shorthouse Dental team on 1st September 2021.
Lesley Murphy

Lesley is an invaluable member of the Bradley Shorthouse team. She returned to the practice in 2005 and plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the practice.

Tina first joined the practice in 1978, when David Bradley and Donald O’Mahony were partners at the dental clinic. Over the years she has witnessed many changes throughout her time here and remains a much-loved member of the reception team, valued by both patients and colleagues.
